AID Alpha

Starting May 12th, 2025, GAIB launched AID Alpha, the Alpha version of AI Dollar (AID), to give community early access to AI yield, together with a range of rewards, benefits, and gamifications for the early birds.

What is AID Alpha?

AID Alpha functions as an early deposit program for GAIB's AID, to bootstrap liquidity for the GAIB protocol while rewarding early birds with incentivized yields and other benefits.

The AID Alpha phase concludes at the time AID and sAID mainnet assets are officially launched and can be deemed deprecated from that point onwards.

How Does AID Alpha Work?

AID Alpha was available on a range of chains, including Ethereum Mainnet, Arbitrum, Base, BNB, Story Protocol, and Sei.

Accepted Assets

AID Alpha supported USDC, USDT, USR, USD1 and cUSDO as deposits in the chains covered above.

User Journey & Fund Flow

The AID Alpha smart contracts follow ERC-4626 standards. For every dollar of stablecoin / synthetic dollar that a user deposits, a receipt token was minted representing the deposit of the particular asset on the particular chain.

For example: Alice deposits 100 USDC on Ethereum, and she will receive 100 AIDaUSDC on Ethereum. Bob deposits 1000 USDT on Arbitrum, and he will receive 1000 AIDaUSDT on Arbitrum. AID Alpha deposits were deployed into US Treasury Bills initially, and gradually allocated to early GPU & robotics financing deals on the platform. Rewards

Users earned Spice rewards, GAIB's points rewards leading to benefits upon GAIB token launch. 1 AIDa accrues 1 Spice per day. Multipliers apply to early depositors and other user activities.

Referral

Those who referred other users through the referral link earned 20% of their referred users' Spice and 10% of their second-order referrals.

The Current State of AID Alpha

AID Alpha: The Spice Harvest campaign successfully concluded on August 18th, achieving its $50 million TVL target with participation from over 73,660 wallet addresses during its three-month run. Previous Capital Caps Review
1. Cap 1: $5 million quota, 10x multiplier spice rewards.
2. Cap 2: $10 million quota, 7.5x multiplier spice rewards.
3. Cap 3: $35 million quota, 5x multiplier spice rewards. \
AID Alpha: The Final Spice launched on August 25th, the previous deposits from the Spice Harvest were automatically rolled over into the Final Spice. This is a concentrated campaign, lasting for around 2 months, the last window of opportunity before we transition to mainnet AID in Q4 2025. Updates
