(REWARD) Financialization Layer

Financialization Layer (REWARD)

Reward & Value Management

The REWARD layer forms the economic core of the GAIB protocol — the engine that transforms verified, off-chain productivity from AI infrastructure into programmable, on-chain value. Acting as the bridge between decentralized capital and real-world operations, REWARD ensures that all economic activity within the GAIB ecosystem is transparent, rule-based, and cryptographically verifiable.

Through REWARD, GAIB translates real-world AI infrastructure assets — such as enterprise-grade GPUs, robotics systems, and data-center financings — into digital AI portfolio tokens like sAID. Each sAID represents a proportional share of a diversified AI asset portfolio, whose value accrues automatically as verified rewards and values from AI infrastructure flow back on-chain. Built upon the ERC-4626 Tokenized Vault standard and LayerZero’s omnichain fungible token (OFT) framework, these assets achieve cross-chain liquidity, transparency, and composability across the broader DeFi landscape.

Core Responsibilities

  • Capital Deployment: Channels on-chain liquidity into productive, real-world AI infrastructure through regulated, bankruptcy-remote structures, ensuring institutional-grade integrity and compliance.

  • Performance Verification: Ingests cryptographically signed attestations from the Asset Validation Layer (PROOF) to verify actual asset performance — only authenticated operational data influence the assets’ economic metrics.

  • Value Distribution: Converts verified productivity into on-chain economic adjustments, updating asset valuations and distributing programmable rewards across holders. Using a modular accounting framework, REWARD supports multiple reflection models, with Net Asset Value (NAV) accrual as the primary standard.

Mechanics of Value Creation

Under the NAV model, verified performance compounds within each asset’s total value, allowing token holders to benefit from performance-based appreciation. For more dynamic or jurisdiction-specific structures, GAIB can deploy alternative models such as Timely Basis Distribution (real-time yield updates) or Accumulative Claim Distribution (deferred yield claiming similar to MasterChef-style staking). All mechanisms are automated, trust-minimized, and auditable, maintaining consistency between real-world productivity and its digital financial representation.

Interoperability Within the Economic Layer

  • Downward Integration: Receives verified performance attestations from the Settlement Layer (NETWORK) and asset metadata from the Tokenization Layer (ONRAMP).

  • Upward Integration: Supplies standardized NAV feeds, performance data, and valuation updates to the Liquidity Layer (LIQUID) and connected DeFi protocols, enabling accurate pricing, risk modeling, and seamless trading.

By synchronizing capital deployment, verification, and reward distribution under one framework, REWARD transforms AI infrastructure into a reward-bearing digital economy — a foundation for sustainable, real-world-backed value creation within the GAIB ecosystem.
